Why go?
Sasara is a modern, minimalist, bright, elegant, sushi restaurant
serving organic veg. and wild fish sashimi just off Nishi-dori.
The counter is bathed in a glorious natural light from a sheer wall of windows.
We had the cheapest 2000yen lunch set, sashimi and vegetables with a good light sake that tasted of plum, followed by a tray of washoku goodies.
Cheesecake and coffee chased it down, leaving us pleasantly full and in a very good mood indeed.
It's a little pricy for "everyday lunching" perhaps, but good value. The clientele ran the spectrum from young couples to older ladies making for a lively atmosphere.
The master is a friendly chap called Tanaka and it is all very welcoming.
(Note: All Go-fubar.mag restaurant introductions are initiated by go-fubar staff. We do not approach the restaurant until staff have eaten there twice and we always pay for our food.)
