art workshop and gallery and will offer classes in different sculpting techniques, painting and paper objects, in addition to flamenco dancing, which has been moved from the main Tenjin location. The gallery will be available for rental for exhibitions by outside artists and is expected to be quite active.
The impressive interior was designed and created by the artist teachers at the centre, Macarena Olivera and Rodrigo Herrera, who were just putting the finishing touches to the mozaics in the rather grand entrance hall when we visited.
"Art is for everybody" says centre director Santiago Herrera "we invite you to come and get a little dirty with us and discover your artistic talents. We guarantee that you will surprise yourself!"
There are free trial lessons in March, call the centre for more information.
